The 2019 National RSL & Services Clubs Conference will be held in the Hunter Valley Wine Country at The Crowne Plaza Resort - 14th - 17th April.
As a collective of RSL Licensed Clubs & RSL Licensed Sub Branches across the state jurisdictions of Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria we all share common themes, goals and challenges as contemporary RSL hospitality venues. At this year’s conference delegates we will come together to hear from business leaders and industry experts in an effort to gain that competitive edge in an ever changing hospitality market place.
As community entities, RSL & Services Clubs are assumed
to be well engaged in their local communities. But how
well do our clubs engage? Do we expect the community to
come to us, or is a more pro-active process likely to lead to
greater awareness and success?
What does ‘community engagement’ actually mean and
how can it shape our businesses and strengthen our profile?
There will be a special guest speaker, Gail O'Brien AO the wife of late celebrated cancer surgeon, Professor Chris O'Brien AO. A health professional of 40 years, Gail trained in physiotherapy and is skilled in a diverse range of therapies including orthopaedic rehabilitation, gerontology, and women's health.
You will also hear from club managers and CEO's who have successfully implemented very effective campaigns in support of important charities or community projects by engaging their members and local community.
An 'engaging' Conference, in the beautiful Hunter Valley, with fantastic social events and networking, as well as strong educational content.
Hopefully the 2019 National RSL & Services Clubs Conference will provide some valuable insights and ideas for everyone to take away and to make you better equipped for Engaging your Community!
