Honour Our Fallen

Honour Our Fallen is a Not-For-Profit Company Ltd, formed to Honour and perpetuate the memory of our Defence Service personnel who have served our Nation through all conflicts since the Boer War and now buried in Australia. We aim to create Respect and community acceptance of those currently serving and returning from deployment, including an understanding of their physical and mental issues when transitioning to civilian life, while also highlighting the virtues of service to our Nation.

This is achieved in partnership with local Schools in each town where our students research and identify ex-Service men and women’s graves and memorial plaques in local cemeteries, and place an Australian flag annually on Anzac Day and Remembrance Day. All flags are acquired by Honour Our Fallen.

We encourage all veteran groups, ex-Service clubs, historical, community associations, individual families and friends, and schools, through member newsletters and websites, to complete a simple “Flag Request” form for any Defence Service male or female, to assist us in our research and commemorative activities.

Honour Our Fallen was launched on Remembrance Day, 11th November 2017, through media announcements and via correspondence to a number of Government authorities requesting their assistance. Positive results achieved 3000 + flags being placed in 62 cemeteries over 6 States and Territories on our first Anzac Day (2018) thus honouring our past while displaying respect for our present ADF members. “THANKYOU FOR YOUR SERVICE”.

The dedication of the schools highlighted a further 2000 honoured by offering to include the 100th Anniversary of the end of World War I, 11th November 2018. Our commemoration includes any deceased person who has worn an Australian uniform since the Boer War, ie Army, Navy, Airforce, Nursing Corps, Women’s Services, Merchant Seamen and Peacekeeping personnel.

We encourage you to help us realise our mission.

Honour Our Fallen requires a facilitator in each town to coordinate the process. Consideration by Service club representatives  (RSL, Legatee, Military unit associations etc), community service members (Rotary, Lions, CWA etc) or individuals, are encouraged to facilitate an area.  We supply all guidance and template letters, including an education resource for schools covering all stages of the Australian Curriculum (2016).

Facilitators: Simply go to and complete “Participation Request” form and press submit. We will be in touch to discuss the simplicity of what is required OR contact me on the below numbers with any inquiries.

If you have a relative or friend you wish to be Honoured on these commemorative days annually, buried anywhere in Australia, please go to, complete a "Flag Request" form and press submit. We do the rest by sourcing a local facilitator pre ANZAC Day annually.
