Why join another industry Association?

The Association represents the unique interests of the 274 registered RSL, Ex-Services, Memorial, Legion or like Clubs in New South Wales. More than 130 with over 1.5 million members have now joined the Association.

The Association works closely with all other sectors of the club industry - eg. ClubsNSW, leagues, workers’, golf and bowling clubs - and as an affiliated organisation is represented on the State Council of ClubsNSW.

No matter how big or small your club, your input is considered vital to ensure industry issues are identified and addressed to create the right environment for your club to function and prosper.

What we stand for

The Association’s mission is to “represent its members through effective communication, ongoing research and provision of quality resources and services that enhance the image and growth of its members’ business.”

The main objectives of the Association are:-

  • To foster and protect the interests of its members and to act in the interests of Registered RSL, Ex-Services, Memorial, Legion Clubs or like Clubs.

To promote the ideals of the ANZAC spirit and heritage of member clubs.

To represent the views of members to government, the community and other stakeholders on matters which impact on their activities.

Assist Clubs with land purchase and lease issues.

To forge close alliances with recognised key industry bodies to facilitate a strong voice to government and the community.

To provide members with a range of business tools and resources, including access to a panel of industry experts, aimed at operational, management and financial improvement in their operations.

To conduct regular focus groups to allow for member input into the Association’s activities and identify issues affecting their operations.

To conduct annual conferences to promote the views of the Association and provide members with resources to improve their operations.

To establish regular communications with members.

To promote Inter-club Social and Sporting activities between Member Clubs and any other member clubs.
